Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was either trolling us or not taking the Epstein files seriously. She called for a Special Council to investigate. And get this, she nominated her friend, disgraced Congressman Matt Gaetz, who had to leave Congress because of allegations about his own scandal involving trafficked minors.
With the evidence piling up, Boebert is being forced to take this issue seriously.
Still, she stood behind Speaker Johnson who on Friday lied saying that Trump only associated with Epstein because he was an FBI informant. The Speaker retracted this hilariously false lie yesterday.
Now, Boebert and Speaker Johnson’s mental gymnastics are going to become even more impossible, the House Oversight Committee just released a massive trove of documents on Trump and Epstein and the evidence is damning:
Short of a note spelling out “I enjoyed trafficking young girls with you” this is the closest thing you are going to get to a smoking gun.
This has the potential to take down Trump’s presidency, but Lauren Boebert is standing down. We have yet to hear a single word from her.Her silence betrays victims and everyone who believes she might for once do the right thing.
I’m the Democrat taking on Boebert and unlike her I keep my word. When I am elected to Congress I will ensure that everyone involved with Epstein is held accountable.
