Friend, when we last wrote to you about hunger in Gaza, we warned that child malnutrition was surging.
At the time, our teams were treating 10 to 15 severely malnourished children every single day. Parents arrived at our clinics carrying babies too weak to eat or cry. We feared that without urgent action, the worst was yet to come.
Now, heartbreakingly, the worst has arrived: Famine has officially been declared in Gaza.
Half a million people are at risk of catastrophic hunger — and 132,000 children under five are at risk of death.
Please, Friend, don’t wait: Rush an emergency donation to help save lives in Gaza and in other places we serve around the world.

Every day, more children arrive at our clinics — dangerously underweight, fighting infections their bodies can’t handle. Some are so weak they have lost the ability to move. One mother told us how her once-healthy child had become so fragile from hunger, he “became indifferent, almost like a doll.” At just over one year old, he weighed the same as an 8-month-old.
It’s devastating. And it’s happening now.
Project HOPE’s clinics in Gaza are busier than ever. We’re providing lifesaving nutrition, high-energy biscuits, therapeutic food, and urgent medical care — doing everything we can to keep children alive. But time is running out.
Please, Friend, show your compassion today. Children in Gaza — and others in crisis around the world are depending on you. Your gift could be the difference between life and death.
