When Governor Moore and I first ran for office, our campaign slogan was to Leave No One Behind. But, it’s not just a tagline, it’s a promise.
I know firsthand what that means. I came to this country as a little girl, an immigrant who believed in the American dream. To be Maryland’s first woman of color and immigrant elected as Lieutenant Governor proves the promise of our great country and Maryland.
But for too many Marylanders, that dream is still out of reach. That’s why Wes and I are running for reelection in 2026. Because our work isn’t finished.

John xxxxxx, we’ve made historic progress together over the past three years. Our administration created good-paying jobs, raised wages, and invested in public schools.
We lifted Maryland children and families out of poverty. We built a cabinet that reflects the diversity of Maryland. But as Wes would say, our mission is not yet complete.
