Donald Trump continues to make terrible decisions for no reason, but these decisions are having terrible effects on our country.

Last week, he attempted to fire Lisa Cook, a member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, which is illegal!

This is just his latest attempt to replace non-partisan public servants with partisan sycophants.

Lisa Cook has vowed to fight and has brought the issue to court. She’s standing up to Trump for the sake of our country, our economy, and our democracy – and I stand with her! If you support Lisa Cook as she fights back against Trump, will you add your name to this list now?

The Fed is intentionally and independently structured to be affected as little as possible by American politics. By trying to eliminate this independence, Trump is jeopardizing the credibility of our monetary institutions and our standing in the global economy.

The Fed’s decisions are based on economic data alone – not on the whims of a dangerous administration.

But Trump doesn’t seem to care. He’s throwing global and national economic security out the window so he can hire and fire at will.
