John, I need to pull back the curtain:
House Republicans passed Donald Trump’s heartless budget bill with huge tax breaks for his billionaire donors – paid for with record-breaking Medicaid cuts.
The effects of this bill will be catastrophic:
– $1 TRILLION will be cut from Medicaid.
– 17 MILLION Americans will have their healthcare ripped away.
– And MILLIONS of hungry children will lose access to food assistance.
It’s shameful.
As House Democrats’ Campaign Chair, I refuse to let Republicans get away with preying on vulnerable working families to make their billionaire donors richer.
John, we can’t change what Republicans have done, but you better believe we will make them regret it at the ballot box. Now we need grassroots Democrats everywhere to band together and ensure Republicans never get the chance to impose their cruel agenda ever again.
