The House hit the ground running last week as Congress returned to session. We advanced a series of national security and foreign policy bills, including efforts to counter Chinese fentanyl, protect undersea infrastructure and strengthen export controls. I also supported the FY26 Energy and Water Appropriations bill, which bolsters American energy independence and invests in critical infrastructure.
Back home, Sgt. Charlie Fountain was recognized for 50 years of service with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Citrus Mutual rolled out a new program to support growers across FL‑18. These are just two examples of the dedication and innovation that make our district strong.
