The Department of Labor under the Trump administration just unveiled an
unbelievably cruel new rule, stripping federal minimum wage and overtime
protections from nearly 4 million home care workers.
These are the caregivers who make it possible for seniors and people with
disabilities to live with dignity. Instead of honoring their essential
work, Trump wants to roll back hard-won protections, leaving already
underpaid, overwhelmingly women and immigrant workers even more
vulnerable.
It’s shameful — and it’s exactly why we need a strong, people-powered
progressive movement to build a government that puts working people first.
Pramila’s fighting back in Congress, but to take on Trump’s
billionaire-backed agenda, she needs you by her side.
