Donald Trump has been caught in another lie.
The House Oversight Committee just released a birthday note and sexually suggestive drawing Trump gave Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday – an item Trump vehemently denied even existed. He called it “fake,” smeared reporters who exposed it, and even filed a defamation lawsuit.[1,2]
But the evidence is now public. And it proves why Trump and GOP leaders are desperate to bury the Epstein files.
Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna’s discharge petition would force the DOJ to release the Epstein files within 30 days. Every Democrat is ready to support it. All that stands in the way is GOP leadership – and their fear of what else these files might reveal.
Trump can’t distract his way out of this. He can’t bury the truth forever. The public deserves transparency, and Congress must deliver it.

Donald Trump is desperate.
He made a bold promise: to release the Epstein files. Now that the pressure is mounting, he’s breaking that promise – and doing everything he can to distract the public from his cover-up.
We’ve seen the tactics. He seized control of Washington, DC. He’s threatening to do the same in other cities. He’s lashing out at critics and sowing chaos – all while trying to bury the truth about the Epstein files.
But the pressure is working.
Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna have filed a discharge petition that would force the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files within 30 days. Every Democrat in Congress is expected to support it. That means we need just two more Republicans to side with transparency and the American people.
Trump and GOP leadership know what’s in those files could be deeply incriminating. They’d rather terrorize communities and distract the media than risk accountability. But the tide is turning – even Trump’s own supporters and some Republicans in Congress are beginning to demand answers.
We cannot let Trump’s distractions work. The truth belongs to the people – not to the politicians trying to bury it.
