Too often, rural communities are left behind. But as the Representative for Middle and Southwest Georgia, I know firsthand how vital our small towns, farms, and local businesses are — not just to Georgia, but to the entire country.
That’s why in Congress, I’ve fought to:
Secure federal funding for rural hospitals, schools, and first responders.
Expand broadband internet, because in today’s world, internet access isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity.
Defend investments in our farmers and the agriculture industry, the backbone of our local economy.
This is personal for me. Rural Georgia deserves the same opportunities as any community in America — and I will never stop fighting to make sure your voice is heard in Washington.
But here’s the truth: Republicans are slashing funding for programs rural families depend on while handing out tax breaks to the wealthy. We can’t let that happen.
