In the last year, more than a third of Colorado residents have reported skipping meals, postponing medical care, or watching their take-home pay shrink. In the wealthiest country on Earth, this level of hardship is unacceptable.

So what did House Republicans do about it? They gave a massive tax cut… to their ultra-rich friends.

But they stuck working-class families with the bill, saddling millions of Coloradans who were already struggling under Trump’s economy with higher costs, skyrocketing healthcare premiums, and empty stomachs.

Look, these well-off Republican politicians don’t understand the first thing about struggling. They don’t know what it’s like to clock in, work hard, and still wonder if you can afford to get by. Brittany Pettersen does — and that’s exactly why we need to keep her in Washington.
