What we’ve seen happening over the last 7 months is absolutely disturbing.
The firings at the Department of Health and Human Services? The layoffs at the EPA? The terminations at the FBI? The ongoing attacks on federal workers just for doing their jobs?
It’s all part of a clear pattern — and it’s not about policy. It’s about power.
Donald Trump and his allies aren’t interested in serving the country. They’re focused on tightening their grip on power and remaking America in a way that works for the ultra-wealthy and well-connected.
If this continues, everyday people won’t just be left out of the conversation — they’ll be completely shut out of the system.
And here in North Carolina, we’re feeling it too. When Washington stops working for people, it’s communities like ours that pay the price — in lost jobs, weaker protections, and fewer resources for schools, health care, and more.
