The Trump-Vance administration and policymakers in the House are targeting access to sexual and reproductive health care again, this time by attacking the Title X Family Planning Program and its providers.  

Earlier this spring, the administration withheld funding from various Title X grantees, undermining access for those who already face barriers to care. To make matters worse, this week congressional Appropriators in the House of Representatives will be considering their version of the FY26 Labor, Health, and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies bill. In addition to harmful policy riders targeting abortion access and gender-affirming care, the bill would completely eliminate the Title X Family Planning Program, decimating access to family planning services such as contraception for millions.

As people continue to face increased barriers accessing sexual and reproductive health care, this administration and policymakers continue to attack programs that support our ability to get care. Our communities need and deserve policies that support access to birth control and other necessary family planning services, not policies that undermine or eliminate it altogether.
