As some of you may know, we’re approaching a Federal Election Commission (FEC) filing deadline at the end of the month.
But what exactly does that mean?! Well, let me break it down for you.
It means that we’ll have to report all of our fundraising numbers to the FEC, and then they’ll be made public.
People from all across the country, including political pundits, media outlets, and, especially, our opponents, will be watching those numbers closely.
They’ll be looking to see if we have the grassroots support we need to take our fight all the way to Washington.
The truth is, I’m used to being underestimated. Raised by a resilient single mom here in Minnesota, I was the kid with a different color lunch ticket.
I know what it feels like to have doubters and naysayers. No one expected me to be Lieutenant Governor — or run for Senate. But one thing I’ve learned is the power of a determined community when it comes together. That’s exactly what we’re going to do with this campaign.
