It was a busy week as we wrapped up summer! I toured local breweries across CA-31, spoke with the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors, and celebrated the retirement of West Covina Assistant Fire Chief.

Last week, I congratulated one of our brave first responders on the House floor. Assistant Fire Chief Mike Fountain has served the community of West Covina and the West Covina Fire Department since 1995. Congrats on your well-deserved retirement, Chief Fountain! 

San Gabriel Valley is home to some of the most iconic breweries. I had the opportunity to hop around to a few of them to tour their facilities, speak with staff, and see what they have been brewing up. Thanks to Arrow Lodge Brewing, Nova Brewing, and City Brewery in Irwindale for hosting me! 

The Citrus Valley Association of Realtors supports businesses and realtor agents across the San Gabriel Valley. I sat down with their staff to discuss how we can continue to work as partners in keeping our business community thriving.
