Five days. That's all we have left to reach our goal in our Fall Match Challenge. We've made tremendous progress in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. But our work is far from done. We must continue to fight back. With your help we can continue to give those living with Alzheimer's disease the help they need today as well as hope for more time with family and friends. We can also give everyone hope for a cure by pushing promising research forward.
It's critical that we hear from you before this match ends on September 12 because we're all at risk. These match funds will help accelerate research for a cure. And until we find that cure, we'll continue to offer care and support to the millions impacted by the disease, as well as advocate at the state and federal levels for Alzheimer's research and care initiatives.
The fight to end this devastating disease begins with you. Thank you in advance for joining us with a gift that can make 2X the difference in advancing research and helping to provide care and support to the millions who count on us each and every day.
Yours sincerely,
Michael Reich
Chief Marketing Officer
---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Katie Evans, Alzheimer's Association Sent: Saturday, September 6, 2025 To: You Subject: Did you know Grandparents' Day is around the corner?
This Grandparents' Day, double your impact for families everywhere.
Tomorrow, we celebrate Grandparents' Day, a special day to honor all the grandmothers and grandfathers who have made an impact on our lives. But this day can be difficult for many, especially those grandparents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and those who have lost a grandparent to Alzheimer's or another dementia.
Our grandparents should be with us for all of life's most precious moments. Because of this devastating disease, many grandparents will not be able to experience these moments. Many grandparents will not be at their grandchildren's weddings, graduations or holiday gatherings. They won't be able to pass on their traditions, stories and life lessons to those they love the most.
Today, you have the power to fight back by making your first gift that can double in impact during our Fall Match Challenge.
Your generosity can go twice as far. Generous supporters Don and Nancy Bouc have pledged to match all gifts — up to a total of $100,000 — if we can raise the same amount by September 12. Their gift is made in honor of Nancy, who is currently living with Alzheimer's, and will go toward care and support resources at their local chapter.
Advocating in all 50 states to secure access to all U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved Alzheimer's treatments for those who would benefit.
We currently have over $450 million invested across more than 1,200 active research projects in 56 countries to push research forward.
Our 24/7 Helpline answered more than 223,000 calls and online chats, offering support and information to those in need last year.
Provided 10 million touches of care and support last year.
We need you as we help the millions impacted by Alzheimer's and keep our momentum going in the search for a cure.
The generosity of kind-hearted people like you has made a tremendous impact for the over 7 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer's and the nearly 12 million family members and friends providing their unpaid care — many for a grandparent. Alzheimer's won't take a break, so neither can we. We're all at risk — grandparents, mothers, fathers, siblings and future generations. Make a gift that can go twice as far during our Fall Match Challengeby September 12 to help provide care and support resources while being part of the movement for a cure.
Your donation will strengthen our efforts to advance Alzheimer's care, support and research. From face-to-face support to online education programs and promising global research initiatives, your gift makes a difference in the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias in your community and across the world. Thank you for your continued support.
