Gen Z's stunning partisan split
America's youngest voters are far likelier to vote Republican than their older siblings.
In 2020, Path to Progress launched as a grassroots organization that rallied progressive young people to defeat Trump. We reached tens of millions of young voters and we won.
But in 2024, Gen Z voters shifted significantly to the right, sending Trump back to the White House. While Americans aged 22-29 backed Democrats by 6%-points, Americans aged 18-21 voted for MAGA by nearly 12%-points.
That's why Path to Progress, the largest volunteer group run by and for young voters, is so important in this moment.

Trump's fascist takeover of our country was made possible by establishment groups taking the youth vote for granted. We're reversing that.
We're educating and mobilizing young voters in pivotal special elections and the upcoming midterms.
Path to Progress is committed to organizing the generation that will put an end to the rise of the far-right. Can we count on you to make a donation of $5, $10, or our average donation of $18, to support this grassroots mission? ➪
Democracy can't wait,
