Herbert,
A lot of people are asking what Congress should be doing now that we’re back from August recess. The answer’s simple:
-
Pass a budget and stop an irresponsible shutdown
-
Release the Epstein files
-
Deliver real relief to families by lowering costs
But here’s the reality: it’s been a full week since recess and Republicans still haven’t put forward a single proposal. And nearly 250 days into this Congressional session, not one bill has passed to cut the cost of groceries, gas, rent, or childcare.
Worse yet, they’re still blocking the Epstein files.
These aren’t partisan fights. These are basic, common-sense priorities. The American people deserve action — not excuses. I’m ready to get to work, and I’m grateful for your support as we push forward.
