Share Your 988 Day Activities

Today (September 8) is the second annual 988 Day where we raise awareness about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and lift up the positive effects 988 has on our communities.

This year’s theme is “Compassionate Help. Anytime. Anywhere.” The theme conveys the heart of what 988 is all about—empathy, accessibility, and reliability. Trained 988 counselors are reducing barriers and stigma around seeking mental health support by providing judgment-free support 24/7.

If your community or organization is participating in 988 Day, share pictures and stories from your events on social media with the hashtags #988Day and #988WisconsinLifeline. For social media posts, posters, videos, and more to share on 988 Day and any day, view our online promotional toolkit. Any way you choose to participate, your involvement helps connect people to lifesaving support.
