Every so often, usually in response to one of these emails, someone asks me: can $5 really make a difference in today’s politics, where campaigns and causes cost millions?
It’s a fair question. And since I’m writing to ask you to consider a $5 donation to Win the Era, I want to answer honestly.
The short answer is yes.
The longer answer is this: Win the Era PAC is completely grassroots-funded. That means it’s the $5, $50, $100 contributions that come in response to emails and texts like this that drive our mission.
And that support matters. It helps me amplify the conversations I’m having about the challenges people are facing every day. It makes it possible for me to travel and show up in communities that are too often overlooked. And it allows us to back candidates — at every level of government — who are in it for the right reasons: serving their communities and solving problems.
