Friend,

Looks like the nightmare is over. Well, one of them. Probably. 

Yep, it’s down there in bad idea hell with Trump’s other brain children. You know, like commercial planes with shag carpeting and bottled water with his face on the label. Yep, we’d put Trump’s DC takeover up there as one of his worst ideas ever. 

But that doesn’t mean he won’t do it again. And the masked men aren't going away, either. 

It’s unnecessary, it’s expensive, and it makes something worse. That’s like, right up Trump’s alley. That’s why he and JD are already making space for soldiers in Chicago. DC was a test market; Chicago will be the real deal. Just wait until you see what they intend to do in purple-state cities like Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Atlanta as Election Day 2026 gets closer.

We expect the same results. Soldiers walking around raking leaves and masked ICE “agents” throwing Latinos into vans for no reason, all the while intending to intimidate voters in key states and districts in 2026. Totally worth the billions it will cost the taxpayers. 

There’s not much we can do to stop this from happening, but there’s plenty we can do once it gets here.

The DC takeover was short-lived in part because of the pro-democracy movement. From minute one, we were loud. We led the protest against fascism, made the calls to Congress, and sounded the alarm on what this could mean for the future of America. This country didn’t elect a dictator, and we’re not going to let Donald Trump forget that.
