John, this card isn’t just thanking teachers for being teachers, but for joining the fight to make schools and classrooms safer.

This work isn’t easy, but it is necessary – because every educator's #1 goal is creating a safe learning environment. And that demands that we address the threat of gun violence.

Back to school time is always busy for educators – from welcoming students to their classroom, prepping lesson plans for the year, and hosting parent meetings. And on top of their classroom duties, our team of teachers and educator leaders are working to make classrooms safer.

We know it would mean the world to them to see folks standing with them, especially in their work to combat the threat of gun violence.
