Dear John,

We have a special invitation for you. This Wednesday for thenext Local Peace Economy conversation <[link removed]> we will introduce the interns who have been working with the Local Peace Economy Project this year. They are an interesting group, who have helped do so much of the background work that keeps the project moving forward. They have also been transformed by the experience, and learned a great deal about new possibilities for building peace and taking action in their local communities. We hope you will join us and talk with this next generation of LPE advocates.

If you missed it, you can listen to our last LPE Meeting.  <[link removed]>This conversation that focused on the topic of community as an ark in these dismaying times. So many of us feel lost and powerless in the face of the "multi-crisis" we face. For many of us, taking action begs the choice: "Which crisis do I address? Which action do I choose? How do I make an impact?" Our LPE gatherings, and this one in particular, helps us navigate this terrain and refocus our energy on what is in front of us in our community. Rather than focus on "big impacts," the next step can be as simple as helping the neighbor in need, making art, or feeding friends. Ask your community what it needs, and the next steps become available to us. As Rumi once said, "When you start to walk on the way, the way appears."

Want to take action this week? Join CODEPINK’s Anti-Imperialist Campaign Series <[link removed]>—a weekly deep dive into each of our campaigns. CODEPINK acknowledges that we are fighting on multiple fronts to dismantle the war machine: from challenging harmful narratives about China to exposing the Pentagon’s bloated budget, from standing in solidarity with Latin America to highlighting the environmental cost of war. But how do these struggles connect to Palestine? And why are they all essential to ending U.S. imperialism. That’s exactly what we’ll explore in CODEPINK’s Anti-Imperialist Campaign Series—a weekly deep dive into each of our campaigns. You’ll also get to know each campaign organizer behind these movements and discover how each fight is a piece of the same struggle: a world free from war, oppression, and empire. Ready to see the bigger picture—and take action? Make the connections by joining our anti-imperialist campaign series today! <[link removed]>
