The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Patriot, our Founding Fathers knew that the right to bear arms is fundamental to maintaining a free nation.

The same patriots that bravely declared American Independence and fought to win the Revolutionary War were well aware of the dangers of disarming citizens. They knew that only a nation comprised of citizens capable of defending themselves and their communities would be able to resist tyranny.

And after securing Independence and ratifying our nation’s constitution our Founders ratified the Bill of Rights, including the 2nd Amendment, to enshrine our liberty for future generations of Americans.

Now it is up to us to secure these rights and pass them on to our children!

The late, great Justice Antonin Scalia once cautioned at a Senate Judiciary hearing that every banana republic and dictatorship claims to protect the rights of their people but they are “just words on paper”, what the Framers would call a “parchment guarantee”.

Benjamin Franklin commented at the Constitutional Convention that we were given a republic “if you can keep it”.

The reason America is a free country today is because for 250 years brave men and women like you stood up to defend our God-given freedoms from enemies both foreign and domestic.

To commemorate 250 years of American exceptionalism and commitment to protecting freedom I am offering my patriotic supporters a chance to win one of my favorite firearms:

Patriot, there is so much to celebrate this year as we approach the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence.

But not all of our fellow Americans appreciate the spirit of 1776.
