First, it was Texas. After Donald Trump directed Republican-led states across the country to gerrymander their maps, Texas was the first to bend the knee. They delivered Trump a brutal, undemocratic gerrymander, kicking five Democrats out of office.

Then, it was our neighbors in Missouri. Lawmakers released a map splitting the Kansas City metro area into three separate districts, diluting voters’ power and handing Republican politicians a dominant, unrepresentative 7-1 GOP majority.

Now, Kansas is next on the list. KS-03 is a blue dot in a red state. Of Kansas’ six seats in Washington, FIVE are currently held by Republican politicians. But they still don't think that’s enough. They want total power, total control, total domination of our state — and Sharice Davids is the one person standing in their way.

Donald Trump believes he’s “entitled” to an extreme GOP majority in Congress. He believes he’s “entitled” to unchecked power in Washington. Those are his words, not ours.

But he’s wrong. Power belongs to the people, not a handful of politicians — and with your help, we can prove that right here in Kansas.
