John, it's Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis with an important update.

Not even a year into his second term, Trump is taking an axe to the guardrails of our Democracy.

→ FIRST Trump met with Putin in Alaska and abandoned our allies in Ukraine (yet again) by failing to negotiate a deal that would bring peace to the region.

→ THEN He aligned himself with Putin in a terrifying new way: citing his stance against absentee voting as a reason for why Trump should sign an executive order abolishing it. Talk about a blatant act of voter suppression.

→ NOW He's suggesting that it would be a good thing "if we happen to be in a war with somebody" during our next election cycle, because it would mean he could stay in power by delaying a vote.

Our president is spending his time in the Oval Office bullying our allies, jeopardizing international security, and doing everything he can to hold onto his power, regardless of the will of the people.
