Hey everybody, it’s Mark

It’s hard to focus on just one thing Trump’s doing at the moment, but I’m about to ask you to do that.

Trump has set his sights on next year’s election. He’s mobilizing his Administration and his network of supporters to do whatever they can to make it harder to vote next year.

The main angle he’s working on is to attack voting by mail.

Why that, specifically? In short, because it works. Because it’s been done for decades, because it widens the pool of people who can participate in elections, because it’s safe, because it’s secure. In my home state of Arizona, 75% of voters mail in their ballots, and we’ve been doing it for 20 years.

This isn’t something we can afford to ignore. We have to take threats to voting very seriously, because Trump definitely is. He knows the only way he can keep his grip on power is by preventing us from winning majorities in the House and Senate.

What we don’t defend now, we are likely to lose. So, today, I’m asking you to take one small action.

I’d like you to add your name and personally endorse voting by mail. Then, I’d like you to tell your friends, your family, and your community that this is important to you. And then, person by person, we’re going to build a sustained grassroots movement aimed at defending our elections.
