Here are the facts:
Texas already enacted a near total abortion ban, despite the devastating consequences it's proven to have:
But despite women suffering, and even dying, lawmakers have just greenlit attacks on providers.
They're trying to give a patient's family members – and even members of the public – the freedom to SUE abortion medication providers for sending medication to Texas women.
This is another way to humiliate and attack women in Texas. They're launching open season on the last shred of dignity and autonomy that women in Texas are afforded by their backwards laws.
There's no other word for it but extreme.
JB Pritzker founded Think Big America to help protect, restore, and expand reproductive rights across the country. And since then, we've supported Ohio, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, New York, and Missouri as they've fought for abortion access.
So this bill that is about to be signed into law by their extreme anti-abortion Governor angers me on a personal level. Texas deserves better. If you're with me, I need you to step up and sign on to demand that the state protect reproductive rights. Our work is not done until everyone, regardless of zipcode, has the right to make their own healthcare decisions.
