Since the beginning, extremist Congressman Scott Perry and I have led very different lives.

In 2001, I flew over Ground Zero as a reporter and told 9/11 stories at a time when our country needed unity the most.

One year later, Congressman Perry was facing felony charges of conspiracy to falsify state-mandated records for his business.

Because of my decades of reporting, I gained the trust of hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians by listening to and sharing their stories on air.

Meanwhile, Scott Perry would go on to serve seven consecutive terms in Congress without ever questioning if he was the right man for the job.

He would vote to ban abortion, vote against raising the minimum wage, and vote against bipartisan initiatives to improve the lives of our friends and neighbors. He even had his phone seized by the FBI for being “central to the planning” of the deadly January 6th insurrection.

Scott Perry has had the chance to make things right for the hardworking communities of PA-10, but enough is enough. There's a reason for his negative approval ratings, John. We deserve better.
