I’m stepping up to do it again by running for Congress as a Democrat in
Colorado’s 8th District.

What’s happening in Washington is a disgrace.

Congress has become a retirement home for career politicians and a
get-rich-quick scheme for insiders. While they bicker, dodge responsibility,
and enrich themselves, real people are getting crushed by rising costs,
shrinking freedoms, and broken promises.

And here in Colorado’s 8th District, Gabe Evans has been part of the problem,
not the solution. He’s acted as little more than a rubber stamp for Donald
Trump’s agenda, putting partisan loyalty above the needs of our communities.

I’m running for Congress because I believe public service should be about
service, not self-interest.

I’ve seen what happens when leaders avoid hard truths—on the battlefield and
in business. The same people who rigged this system won’t be the ones to fix it.

If we want a government that works for us, we need a new kind of
leadership—grounded in discipline, grit, and a sense of duty. That’s what I’m
