I’m no stranger to tough fights.
In 2018, the establishment counted me out before I flipped a deep-red Congressional district. I won that race by 5% — and then won reelection by 12%, flipping Trump counties and winning in places no Democrat ever had.
So I am not fazed by the task in front of us.
The Democratic establishment has failed our state. Working people are leaving New York because they can’t afford to raise families here. They have doubled down on the same failed, corporate sponsored playbook that lost us seats in 2022 and the entire White House in 2024.
But to be frank, they have more money than we do. Lots. We have a plan to use New York’s public matching funds program to even the playing field — but it relies on grassroots supporters, chipping in what they can, when they can afford to.
