![]() Hey John, it’s Sarah. It’s been months since Republican Zach Nunn voted to rip Medicaid and SNAP benefits away from thousands of his own constituents here in Iowa’s 3rd District — and he’s still refusing to hold a town hall meeting to take feedback from the community. So far, all we’ve gotten from Zach Nunn are insults, dodges, and excuses. He mocked the idea as "a taxpayer-funded protest event." Just yesterday, he pulled a bait and switch, changing what was supposed to be a community forum to a private meeting on just 24 hours' notice. Seeking answers from your Congressman isn’t some cheap joke, John. Access to food assistance and affordable health care is a matter of life or death for thousands of Iowans. That’s why I’m done waiting — we’re hosting a community town hall this weekend, right here in IA-03. Can you chip in today to help us get the word out?
I’ve spent my career supporting, listening to, and working with Iowans — but Zach Nunn isn’t doing any of that. Instead, he’s hiding from his constituents after voting to cut Medicaid, SNAP, and throwing working families under the bus just to fund a massive tax break for billionaires. Iowans deserve more than that, John. They deserve a representative who will show up for them, hear their concerns, and be truly accountable to the community. It’s not hard to do, but our Congressman simply isn’t doing it. So if Zach Nunn is too afraid of facing his own constituents to host a public town hall, I will.
Thank you for your support; it really does make a big difference. Sarah P.S. If you’re in Iowa this weekend, there’s still time to RSVP for our Town Hall here. I hope to see you there! |
