** John,
------------------------------------------------------------
Just three days after being released from federal custody, Kilmar Abrego Garcia was again wrongfully detained by ICE.
ICE took Kilmar into custody after he followed the rules set forth in his release, and showed up for a mandatory immigration check-in. Instead of honoring his compliance, they punished him for it. Now the Trump administration is trying to deport him to Uganda — a country he has never been to.

This is not justice. This is cruelty. And it’s part of a broader pattern of abuse by Trump’s administration and ICE officials: targeting immigrants, separating families, and ignoring the law in order to spread fear.
Kilmar’s case makes one thing clear: the far-right’s attacks on immigrant communities are escalating, and they will not stop unless we stand up and fight back.
SUPPORT TODAY ([link removed])
I’m in Congress to defend our immigrant neighbors, our families, and our democracy. But I can’t do it alone. We need a movement that refuses to be silent in the face of this kind of injustice, can I count on you to chip in and raise your voice with us? ([link removed])
Together, we’ll stand against Trump’s cruelty and build a system rooted in justice, dignity, and fairness.
In Solidarity,
Delia
