As always, I want you to have a seat at this table...
Just checking that you got the email from my team yesterday, Friend.

Our county’s behavioral health services directly impact both our current reality and our collective future. These systems serve all of us by providing job opportunities, keeping our streets safe, healthy, and vibrant, and tackling the housing and homelessness crises.

But state and federal policies have put this work at risk. That’s why I’ve come up with a real plan to keep our life-saving behavioral health systems serving everyone. As always, I want you to have a seat at this table. Sign on in support of this critical work TODAY →

Now, she’s running to continue this work on the Board. We’re actively building systems that provide more holistic care and meet YOUR most critical needs. But first, we wanted to ask for your buy-in. Sign on to support Monica’s mental health platform TODAY →

I’M ON BOARD!

Our county’s behavioral health systems have a profound impact on our day-to-day lives.

On the Board, Monica has:
  • Fought food insecurity through a comprehensive action plan and grant funding to improve access to healthy, locally grown food.
  • Worked to address the root causes of health problems by increasing direct services and fighting for health basics like clean water and air, and stable housing.
  • Increased funding, beds, and services for behavioral and mental health so our community members can get help when they need it.
  • Responded to natural disasters like the January 2024 floods with urgency and compassion, including programs for emergency housing, transportation, food support, social and mental health services.
But with state and federal cuts actively gutting these systems, it will take a lot more work to build a safer and healthier county.

Over here at Team Monica, we believe community is the cure for chaos.
