Earlier this year, when federal politicians proposed cutting Medicaid and Medicare to give tax breaks to the wealthiest people, Sara joined nearly 900 elected officials to say "NO" and warn of the harm that could come to Wisconsin and communities nationwide.

Sara has the experience in public health to inform her work to expand Medicaid — like 41 other states already have — and bring health care to 90,000 more Wisconsinites while bringing nearly $1 billion dollars a year in federal dollars back to our state.

Sara is also backing candidates who share this vision through her Leadership PAC. Her goal is to build a coalition of leaders dedicated to making healthcare more accessible and affordable for all Wisconsinites.
