The Make Billionaires Pay march is gaining momentum. Every day it becomes clearer that Trump and his billionaire backers are consolidating power. The time for revolt is now.
Thousands of people are planning to take to the streets in NYC on September 20th. If you haven't yet had a chance to sign up, here's all the information you need:
DATE: Saturday, September 20th
TIME: 12 pm ET
LOCATION: Public line-up for the march will begin on
Park Ave between E 46th St and E 49th St
in Midtown Manhattan
For mobilizations at this scale to succeed, we need lots of volunteers. So John, I also wanted to ask — are you interested in volunteering on the day of the march?
Signing up to volunteer is a great opportunity to step up your support for the growing movement against billionaires.
By volunteering, you’ll help keep people safe, make the action accessible, and ensure that our message is heard loud and clear. We’ll hold volunteer trainings where you can learn everything you need to know before the march.
Volunteer Roles:
Together with our partners at Desis Rising Up and Moving (DRUM), Women’s March, and Climate Defenders, our 350 staff are working hard to make sure we see thousands of people on the streets this September for Make Billionaires Pay, part of the Draw the Line global days of action.
We don’t just want to make some noise. We want to show each other and the world that the movements for peace, justice and climate are still here, still powerful, and more united than ever.
