Ottawa County Releases List of Finalists for Administrator

On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners met to identify finalists in its search for a new County Administrator. From a competitive pool of 58 applicants, five candidates will move forward to the next interview stage. The five finalists are:


* Paul Sachs
* Matthew Farrar
* Kurt Dykstra
* Patrick Waterman
* Chris Kukulski

The finalists will interview with a group of municipal professionals and community partners who regularly interact with the County on Monday, September 8, at 9AM in Conference Room H, located at 12220 Fillmore, West Olive. These interviews will be live-streamed.

*Board of Commissioners Interviews  |  View Meetings Details [ [link removed] ]*

On Wednesday, September 10, at 9AM, the Board of Commissioners will conduct in-person interviews with each finalist at a public meeting in the Board Room located at 12220 Fillmore, West Olive. These interviews will be live-streamed. If additional time is needed for deliberations or follow-up conversations, a second meeting will be scheduled.
