 Tomorrow: Hacienda

The iconic Hacienda will be back in Nottingham tomorrow, bringing a star-studded line-up of house and electronic legends to one of the UK’s most stunning outdoor venues. This open-air event promises a unique fusion of historic grandeur and world-class dance music.
Hacienda’s return brings an unmissable celebration of club culture, featuring some of the most influential artists and DJs in dance music history, including Armand Van Helden, Groove Armada, Inner City Live, K-Klass Live, Alison Limerick, Greg Wilson, and DJ Paulette.
Limited tickets are available, but Nottingham City residents can still receive a 10% discount by entering their council tax number and postcode when booking in advance.
 Goose Fair returns for ten days

Enjoy all the fun of the fair at the Forest Recreation Ground this autumn, as Goose Fair is back! Goosey the Goose Fair goose has taken up its perch on the Mansfield Road roundabout once again, heralding the return of one of the largest travelling funfairs in Europe later this month.Â
New rides this year include the steampunk-themed Time Machine, and Skyfall, the world’s tallest portable drop tower standing at an impressive 80-metres high. There will also be lots of returning favourites and Goose Fair classics, like Waltzers, Dodgems, Gallopers, and the Cake Walk, plus fairground food such as mushy peas and Cocks on Sticks!
Following a hugely successful trial last year, SEND sessions will be returning on Sundays from 12pm-1pm. These sessions allow children and people with special educational needs and disabilities to enjoy the fair without the loud noises and bright lights.

Festival of Food & Drink returns for its twelfth year at Thoresby Park! With over 160 traders, TV chef demos, BBQ demos, live music, children’s cookery school, bookable sessions, free kids fun and more, it’s a great family weekend not to be missed.

 Shine Night Walk Nottingham

Join hundreds of people lighting up the city at the Shine Night Walk Nottingham, to raise money for life-saving cancer research. When you sign up you can select to fundraise for a type of cancer research that is closest to your heart.
People of all abilities can take part. The 10k route will start and finish at Old Market Square, taking you through the heart of the city and past some of its most iconic landmarks. The walk will take between 1.5 to 3 hours to complete, with various start times throughout the evening.

The Ganesh Visarjan ceremony will be held at Newstead Abbey as part of the Hindu festival Ganeshotsav.
There'll be lots of music, dancing and fun for all ages, including live dhol drummers and food/prasad. Entry is ÂŁ2.35 per person and tickets must be booked in advance.

 Little Festival of Heritage & Nature
 Sat 13 September Kings Mill Reservoir, Sutton in Ashfield
Celebrate the great outdoors and local heritage with a free, family-friendly festival at Kings Mill Reservoir! The event runs from 11am-3pm and is free to enter.
As part of the festival you can have a go at abseiling from England's oldest railway viaduct, take a boat trip on the reservoir, take part in nature-based crafts and traditional outdoor games, and enjoy live music and entertainment. There will also be appearances from Robin Hood, Lady Marian, Superman and Superwoman!
 National Ice Centre 25th Anniversary Skating Gala

'Skating Through Time' is a one-night-only gala celebrating 25 years of the National Ice Centre. From grassroots beginnings to Olympic dreams, this is the story of Nottingham’s ice legacy - told through breathtaking performances and powerful moments on the rink.
Expect stunning figure skating, synchronized routines, high-octane ice hockey, short track action, and a special showcase from the GB Speed Skating Squad. There'll be live interviews, surprise guests and a heart-warming finale, before you can take to the ice yourself for a group skate to end the night.
