In case you missed it: Congresswoman Ashley Hinson launched her campaign for the U.S. Senate on Tuesday — making her the GOP frontrunner since Joni Ernst announced she won’t run for reelection.

But let’s be clear: Ashley Hinson will be no different than the Senator who came before her.

Hinson’s spent her career prioritizing wealthy and connected people like herself while selling out the working people of Iowa. She’s “proud” of her vote to kick 100,000+ people off of their healthcare, she voted against Iowa kids and farmers, and she’s neglected our veterans.

Hinson is bad news for Iowa. BUT the silver lining is that her competitive district IA-02 is now wide open! Already named as a “district in play,” Democrats have an even bigger opportunity to flip this seat.
