Janelle Bynum for Congress

Hey there, with Congress in recess for August, I headed home to meet with Oregonians and discuss the issues that matter most to our communities.

This was an incredible opportunity to hear what’s on your minds and understand how I can better represent you in DC.

I'll tell you more about what I was up to in Oregon, but if you’re ready to help defend this must-hold seat and keep me fighting for working families, I hope you’ll consider making a contribution to my re-election campaign today.

This month, I attended Happy Valley National Night Out, and met with local law enforcement officers and firefighters to thank them for their work and discuss how I can best support them in Congress.

I also toured the Redmond Air Center, which plays a key role in fighting wildfires across Central Oregon. It was an honor to meet with the brave forest service representatives and learn more about how they monitor and suppress fires in our state.

Then, I toured the new Redmond Public Safety Facility that just opened in Central Oregon. I met with law enforcement officers and learned about how the new center will help decrease response times and improve coordination.

And I had the opportunity to meet with Redmond firefighters to tour the Redmond Fire and Rescue headquarters and hear about their work to keep our communities safe this season.

On top of all that, I continue hosting my “Give ‘Em Hell” town hall tour to hear directly from Oregonians — because I’m determined to give our community a voice in Congress.

Now, I’m back in DC ready to hit the ground running to fight for folks across Oregon. I’m ready to get back to work to bring down costs, protect healthcare, and build a better future for our state. If that’s a mission you believe in, then I’m personally asking for your support today to help me keep up this work in Congress.
