In 2023, Montana had a $2.5 billion surplus, enough to give every working-class Montanan a serious tax cut. But what did Montana Republicans do? They cut taxes… for their ultra-rich friends. But they raised your property taxes! Now, that surplus has shrunk, which means fewer resources for our public schools, our roads and bridges, and our health care. And unless you own a million-dollar lakefront mansion, you’re paying more to make up the difference. The math doesn’t lie, John: Under the GOP’s rule, Montanans are paying more and getting less. That’s why we need your help.
