John, we’ll be frank: the Electoral College is undemocratic. It is an outdated and racist relic of the past, and it handed Trump a presidential victory in 2016 even though he LOST the popular vote.

The candidate who wins the most votes should be president – period. But in the coming years, election experts predict that it could be even harder for Democrats to win the presidency – all because of this antiquated system!
