14,000 miles.
That’s the distance I’ve traveled across New Mexico since launching our campaign a few short months ago to speak with voters face-to-face about what matters to them.
I never planned on becoming a politician, and I don’t do this work to be popular with billionaires. I’m running for governor because I love our state. And I believe that we need to do everything in our power to protect it.
That’s why I’m committed to showing up everywhere and leaving no one behind.
But the truth is that organizing in the fifth-largest state in the country takes time and immense resources. And while we’ve been listening and building our coalition, Trump and his MAGA allies have set their eyes on New Mexico. They’re banking on billionaire megadonors to drown out our voices.
We’re building this campaign on grassroots support, and I promise to keep it that way. But to keep up with their wealth, we have to prove the strength of our movement.
