Dave Min for Congress

Hi, since so many new people have joined Team Min over the last few months, I wanted to take a moment to reach out.

My name is Jane Stoever, and 23 years ago, I was lucky enough to meet my future husband, Dave Min, in our Family Law class.

I hope you’ll take a minute to read all about our story, but if you’re in a hurry, will you consider pitching in to his campaign for re-election? I see every day just how hard Dave works for families across Orange County, but I know it’s going to require a lot of resources to keep that leadership in Congress for another two years.

In law school, Dave and I both shared a passion for giving back to our communities through public service. Really, it’s what brought us together! Graduating law school, my focus was on increasing safety and justice for survivors of domestic violence, while Dave started his career as an SEC prosecutor, facing off against corporate fraudsters and enforcing federal law.

But I never could have imagined where our paths would take us.

In 2016, Dave and I were both law professors at UC Irvine. We had just welcomed our third child, and we were eager to raise our kids in a country that valued kindness and inclusivity. But after Donald Trump was elected president, we knew things wouldn’t be the same.

So we took action. We taught our kids the importance of standing up for what is right, not necessarily what is popular or easy. And in 2020, Dave ran for State Senate to fight for our values and act against injustice.

In Sacramento, we worked together to make sure families and children all across California had the support they needed to thrive. Dave passed first-in-the-world legislation to protect survivors of domestic violence, banned gun shows on all state property, and authored legislation to tackle climate change and leave our kids a cleaner, healthier planet.

Now, he’s fighting for those same priorities in the halls of Congress. And despite everything he’s up against, he’s remained hopeful and determined. And he’s never lost sight of what truly matters: leaving behind a kind, welcoming, healthy democracy for our kids.

The truth is, those qualities don’t only make him a great representative for Orange County. They also make him a great husband and father, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work he’s doing.

I know I’m just a little bit biased, but I truly believe there is no one in Congress more focused, more passionate about the future of our country than Dave.

And that’s why it would mean so much to me if you could pitch in and contribute to Dave’s campaign for re-election. Just like last year, this race is going to come down to just a handful of votes, so every donation and every supporter Dave is able to earn really makes a difference.
