I’m so excited to share this with you: I am officially launching my campaign for Congress.

 

We need a Representative who fights to lower costs for working families and a Congress ready to stand up to Trump.

 

This new district, created by California’s fight against Trump’s Texas gerrymander, will be one of the most competitive in the nation. Our opponent is Republican Darrell Issa, the ‘House mini-Trump’ who’s been selling us out for Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies for over twenty years.

 

Flipping this seat is key to taking back Congress. We must win, and I’m all in.

 

➡️ As a federal labor attorney, I helped write the PRO Act to strengthen unions and un-rig our economy.

 

➡️ In San Diego, I flipped a City Council seat from red to blue, fought to ban ghost guns, prosecuted the opioid industry, and took on price gougers driving up costs for families.

 

➡️ I’ve always taken on the powerful and won, because that’s what working people deserve.

 

Now, I’m ready to do the same in Congress — to lower costs and raise wages, defend abortion rights and LGBTQ rights, and protect our Constitution from Trump and his MAGA allies.

 

But let me be clear: this will be one of the toughest and most expensive fights in the country. We cannot afford to fall behind in these first critical days.

 

That’s why I’m teaming up with Blue Vision in the fight against Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda. Together, we’re building the grassroots movement it will take to flip seats, win tough races, and take back the House.
