You need to hear this:

I’m being pummeled by attacks from the GOP.

All week, national Republicans, even Sean Hannity, have been attacking me on social media — calling me “out of touch,” smearing and criticizing me online, and doing everything they can to portray Chicago as the dangerous place they want it to be.

They’re wrong.

These attacks aren’t really about me — they’re about silencing anyone who dares to stand up to Trump’s authoritarian control. They want to punish Illinois for protecting immigrant families, and for refusing to let Trump manufacture a crisis by deploying the National Guard in our great city.

But I won’t be intimidated, and I won’t let them distract us.

As Lieutenant Governor, I’ve stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Governor Pritzker to defend Illinois families. I’ve never backed down from a fight for our communities — and I’m not starting now.

Still, I can’t do this alone. The GOP is counting on these attacks to silence us and set our movement back. Let’s show them they can’t.

As the GOP comes at me with everything they’ve got, I need to know you’re with me. So I am asking:
