Friend,

Thanks to climate change, every season is now wildfire season in California. Already in 2025, nearly 6,000 wildfires have ravaged our state, burning more than 350,000 acres of land—destroying homes, displacing families, and choking our communities with smoke.

As our winters become drier and our summers hotter, these disasters will only become more frequent and more destructive. Californians know this reality all too well. We don’t need more warnings; we need solutions.

But instead of taking action to fight the climate crisis, Trump and Republicans are rolling back lifesaving protections, siding with polluters, and even threatening FEMA and other disaster relief funding when wildfires and floods devastate so-called “blue states.”

We deserve leaders who put people and communities first—not political games. Together, we can:

- Protect our communities by investing in stronger disaster response and recovery.
- Build a clean energy future that creates jobs while keeping our families safe.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. Californians are on the frontlines of the climate crisis, and we need leaders who will stand with us—not abandon us.
