Remember when Donald Trump promised to release the Epstein files?
Did anyone really think the sexual predator president who used to party with Jeffrey Epstein was going to release the Epstein files?
Instead, he’s been busy taking away your health care to cut taxes for the rich and threatening to strip Americans of their citizenship and send them to foreign prisons.
We were told Donald Trump’s new GOP cared about working people.
But you can’t claim to be for working men and women when you defund their hospitals and nursing homes.
You can’t claim to be for working men and women when you defund school lunch programs that help feed little boys and girls whose hard-working parents are struggling to fill the fridge.
Let me tell you what it’s been like in Washington these last seven months.
The leaders of Georgia’s clinics and hospitals and nursing homes, caregivers for seniors and the disabled, nurses, teachers, food pantry directors — they all came to us and pleaded with Georgia's representatives in Congress: don’t do this. Don’t devastate health care. Don’t abandon seniors. Don’t starve kids.
Sen. Warnock and I listened. We fought that bill, and we voted No.
We put Georgia first.
But every Republican member of Congress who is supposed to represent Georgia put loyalty to Trump over loyalty to our state.

That brings me to the 2026 election.
2026 is our only hope to recover Congressional power and reverse this descent toward one-man rule.
And here in Georgia I am the only Democratic U.S. Senator nationwide up for reelection in a state Trump won.
I am therefore MAGA’s #1 target for defeat.
There is no path back without defending this seat — the seat that secured the Democratic majority four years ago.
This is a moment of struggle for the very substance of our Republic. This descent into one-man rule must be stopped.
Five years ago, here in Georgia, we lit a beacon of hope and possibility for the whole nation. It’s still shining.
And come next November, we will raise it higher.
In a landslide, we will do our part to end this spiral into chaos and corruption.
