The Center for Disease Control is in crisis.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently fired Director Susan Monarez -- just weeks into her tenure -- and stacked senior leadership with individuals known for vaccine skepticism.

Top CDC officials resigned in protest. Public health advocates are sounding alarms. And former leaders from both parties are warning that these actions put American lives in jeopardy.

I believe our health institutions must be guided by science, not politics. That’s why I’ve joined the growing call for RFK Jr. to be removed from office immediately.
