John, school is back in session for most students across Pennsylvania -- even as we wait for the Republican Senate to pass a budget to help fund those schools.

It's been a long summer for us in the House, as we've passed a budget plan, school funding, and mass transit funding and waited for the Senate to take action that works for all Pennsylvanians. Funding for public schools, mass transit, and better community care are all priorities we've been fighting for in the House -- and I promise that we'll continue leading that fight for as long as we're in the majority!

With summer coming to an end, the best way to have a little fun and still support our efforts is to join me for my End of Summer Party on September 17th!
