John —

DC communities are joyful, powerful — and we're under attack.

Armed National Guard soldiers are carrying guns through our neighborhoods. ICE and FBI agents are profiling, harassing, and violently arresting our neighbors. MPD is going after children just for being outside, and every hour that goes by is an hour when people here are in danger.

On Saturday, September 6, we are calling on everyone in the DC region and allies from across the country to join us for "We Are All DC," a national march in solidarity with DC communities to end the occupation of DC. Register now to join us on Saturday.

Tell us you'll be there

Together, we will join allies from around the region and across the country to demand:

  • ICE out of our communities
  • An end to Trump's control over MPD
  • Immediate withdrawal of all National Guard members
  • The right to protect our communities in the future, permanently

Saturday's event will meet at 11:00 AM at Malcolm X Park (16th St. NW between W St. & Euclid St. NW). Delegations of faith communities, union locals, school communities, and other groups are encouraged.

This event will be a chance for everyone, no matter where you live, to come and show your solidarity with DC. Sign up now to join us on Satuday and we'll see you there.

In solidarity,
The Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO
